Try it out!

Don’t have a physical PDA but curious about how it works? Or just want to try a model you don’t have?

Why not try one of the emulators? They should give a authentic feel for how the real unit would look and work.

First out is the Psion Series 3a emulator, based on the MAME emulator, running inside your browser.

Or why not an Ericsson MC218 for the full EPOC 5 feature set? Big thanks to Joe Fincham Haines for making this available.

Here is a Palm Vx emulator, based on the CloudPilotEmu emulator, running inside your browser.

Or try something more basic, like the Atari Portfolio emulator, based on the MAME emulator, running inside your browser.

And finally, here is the Einstein Newton emulator! As the Newton emulator does not run entirely inside the browser – it predominantly runs on a server in the museum and is only exposed through the browser to you – it means that it is resource intensive. Therefore we have limited the number of visitors that can access this emulator at any time. Currently the limit is three visitors. We have also limited the time you are allowed to play with it to thirty minutes. This should be enough to get a general feeling for how a Newton works.
