This Atari Portfolio emulator is based on MAME and is recompiled with Emscripten to run in your browser. Thanks for everyone involved in these projects!
What you need to know:
- You must use a PC or Mac with a “proper” keyboard. This emulator does not work in a phone or tablet without a physical keyboard.
- Once the emulator has started, you can choose between English, German and French. Tack a pick!
- Then you are asked to set the date and time, but this is not strictly necessary as you will not be creating any content, so just press Enter.
- The “Atari-key” used to present the menu for the built-in applications is mapped to F1 in this emulator. Press F1+Z to display the menu.
- Other key-combinations can hopefully be figured out by looking at the picture of the real keyboard. (You cannot click keys on the picture).
- Type ESC to get back control of the mouse and keyboard
- Just close the window when you are done.
