Generally considered to be the first commercially successful Palmtop computer, the Atari Portfolio in essence is a “shrunken down PC” that runs DOS on a CMOS version of Intel 8088. Today I am adding a new section, under the main menu heading “PDA History”, called Ads from when they were new. Have a look, and be amazed of how the companies marketed their products back then.

Apples last Newton model – the MessagePad 2100 – is now featured in the museum. You will find it here. Yet to come: The first Newton, and the eMate 300.
