New PDA added: Atari Portfolio

Generally considered to be the first commercially successful Palmtop computer, the Atari Portfolio in essence is a “shrunken down PC” that runs DOS on a CMOS version of Intel 8088. New PDA added: Apple Newton eMate 300

The only laptop from Apple that runs Newton OS, the eMate 300 was targeted towards schools and it had some nice features going for it. Read all about it at its page

New section: Old ads

Today I am adding a new section, under the main menu heading “PDA History”, called Ads from when they were new. Have a look, and be amazed of how the companies marketed their products back then.
